With the Summer shows slowly drawing to a close, the official ramp up of promos around the Fall schedule are coming in thick and fast.
Yes ladies and gentlemen of the internets, its coming upon us shortly, the fall schedule, and not to sound like Big Kev, I'm really excited what it will bring.
What intrigues me is the options the networks are going for, Glee for example with Fox. They did a 'test' screening back in...May? was it? anyway, they screened it a couple months ago, and only a couple of weeks ago on Ch10 in Australia. I guess it was to gauge hype around the show, to see if it would actually be a goer, or if it was going to knock out a couple shows and then people would get jack of it, and toss it to one side.
I'm pleased to say that it did get a whole season, and I can't wait till Sept 9 for it to air - only problem for me, I'm going to be in Fiji!
Coming back, that I really can't wait for, Bones, Heroes, Gossip Girl, Greys Anatomy (*sigh*, poor George)

In Plain Sight
Because i clearly couldnt get enough of my west wing connection, i came across a copy of the first season of In Plain Sight, staring Mary McCormack from obviously, the west wing.
I think the show is pretty interesting, although a little 'grrr' that since its cable, that the seasons are only 12 episodes long. It follows the life of a Federal Marshal (Mary Shannon) while she protects her various witnesses.
The show is pretty interesting as its not just a regular cop show, its about the witness protection program. And this is pretty much the only show that focuses on the program, so its an insight on how that whole thing works.
Its currently running its 2nd season on the USA network. If you manage to get your hands on it, i think its def. worth a watch.

The West Wing
I finally finished the 6th Season of TWW, and i remembered why i began to love it in the first place. It's great writing and believable characters. It's great.
And like any other obsessed geek, i couldnt help but geek out and watch the first couple of eps from the new (well new to me) season.
I really liked the flash forward they did, showing the team all back together 3 years in the future, but it was a little bit of a shame to not see Sam, I know he had a bit of a fallout with Aaron or whatever, but it would have been nice to see him there for some sort of consistency. But I really like where the show is going, although slightly predictable. However that might be somewhat influenced by the DVD set I had of the 7th season sitting in my shelf, that showed that Jimmy was going to be in the new season.
I have my doubts though with regards to the pick for the Vice President they have chosen to go with Santos. Is Leo's heart going to be able to hold out? he was having some serious issues with it.
But you have to think, if Leo has the potential to be in the White House again, what is going to happen with the current staff? Isn't the people that he have worked with for the last 7 years going to want to stick by him, cause they would all know him? right?
I think I might go and check out the newish White House website, from last time i was there, it was pretty cool, laid out pretty well, and I even managed to subscribe to a couple of the RSS feeds they have going.
